Ms. Arrington received her dance training from Oleg Tupine and Tania Rousseau in Virginia. She also studied at Chautauqua Institute, School of American Ballet, and North Carolina School of the Arts. At seventeen, Ms. Arrington joined the Tulsa Ballet Theatre where she was promoted to demi-soloist and performed such roles as Myrtha in Giselle, the Ruby Fairy in Act III of Sleeping Beauty, the Amazon Captain in Lew Christianson’s Con Amore, the pas de six in Arthur Mitchell’s Rythemetron, and Fredrick Franklin’s Tribute. Ms. Arrington became an Artist in Residence and instructor with Margo Marshall and City Ballet of Houston in 1992. While in residence, she had works created for her by such choreographers as Michael Uthoff, Luis Fuente, Margo Sappington, Alun Jones, Sandra Organ, and Robert Underwood. Ms. Arrington also guested with Reno Ballet Theatre, Twin City Ballet, Bartlesville Civic Ballet, Texas Dance Theatre, Chrysalis Dance Company, Sandra Organ Dance Company, and Ballet Arkansas in such roles as Coppelia, Cinderella, Sugar Plum, Paquita, and Frederick Franklin’s Tribute.

Internationally, she performed Odette/Odile with the Duchy Ballet in Cornwall, England and was invited to teach and serve as a guest artist with Ballet Adriatico in Ascoli Piceno, Italy under the direction of Anna-Marie Holmes. As an instructor, Ms. Arrington has worked with Margo Marshall and City Ballet of Houston for the past twenty-two years where she now serves as Artistic Director. She has restaged many of the classics for the company including Swan Lake Act II and Act IV, Giselle Act II, Don Quixote Act I and Act II, and excerpts of Le Corsaire, La Bayadere, Paquita, and Sleeping Beauty. Additionally, Ms. Arrington has taught workshops and classes with Rice University, Twin City Ballet and Power and Grace in Louisiana, Alwin School of Dance in New Mexico, Chrysalis Dance Company, and served as a dance panelist with the Cultural Arts Council of Houston. In 2008, Ms. Arrington graduated Suma Cum Laude with a BA in English Literature and History.
