At the Academy of City Ballet of Houston (ACBH), our adult ballet classes welcome dancers of all backgrounds because it’s never too late to learn something new! Whether you’re stepping into a studio for the first time or returning after years away, our classes offer a supportive space to learn, grow, and enjoy the art of ballet. Taught by Mary Beth Arrington, who has been teaching adult classes in the Houston area since 1998, classes are open to teens, adults, and professionals looking for a structured ballet class.

Adult Ballet Classes for All Levels:

Our adult ballet program offers two distinct levels to meet your goals:

Foundational Adult Ballet: Ideal for adult beginners or those new to ballet. You’ll learn basic positions, alignment, and barre work at a comfortable pace, building the confidence to move gracefully and safely.
Intermediate / Intermediate-Advanced Ballet: Designed for students with prior dance experience who want to refine technique, musicality, and expressive movement in a structured environment.
