Daphne began her training with Margo Marshall School of Ballet and joined City Ballet of Houston in 2005. She was named an Artist in Residence of the company in 2014. Daphne has attended workshops at Joffrey San-Antonio and studied with teachers such as Soili Arvola, Leo Ahonen, Luis Fuente, Alexi and Natalia Charov, John Magnus, Margo Sappington, and Trinette Singleton. She has worked with many choreographers, been cast in several original works with City Ballet of Houston, and is known for her ability to handle contemporary as well as classical repertoire. She has served as an assistant for the Greater Houston Youth Nutcracker, now Inner City Nutcracker, which CBH performs annually at Jones Hall and has shown an affinity for working with young dancers as well as adults. Daphne also attends the University of Houston where she is majoring in Geology.
