Tricia Eaton began her dance training at the age of four at Busby Dancenter under the direction of Debbe Busby. At ten, she joined Victoria Ballet Theatre, where she performed a wide range of classical and contemporary roles. Her repertoire includes Clara, Sugar Plum Fairy, Dew Drop, and Snow Queen in The Nutcracker, as well as featured roles in Coppélia, Swan Lake, Firebird, and Raymonda.
During her time with VBT, Tricia worked with esteemed choreographers such as Randall Soileau, Mark Schneider, Brenda Serrata Tally, Jorge Cano, Sandra Organ, and Luk de Lairess. She represented the company at Regional Dance America/Southwest festivals and performed internationally at Tanzsommer in Austria. She also attended intensives with Ballet Austin, Joffrey Ballet San Antonio, American Ballet Theatre at the University of Alabama and the University of Texas, and the Craft of Choreography Conference. Through these programs, she had the opportunity to perform both classical repertoire, including La Bayadère and Queen of the Dryads, and original works by Ron Tice, Kirk Peterson, and others.
After High School, Tricia joined Indiana University Ballet Theater, where she expanded her repertoire with works by George Balanchine and Jacques Cesbron, training under distinguished faculty members Violette Verdy, Jacques Cesbron, and Virginia Cesbron, as well as guest teachers and choreographers including Julie Kent and Susan Pillare.
Today, Tricia is a proud wife and mother of three daughters. She continues to nurture her love of dance by participating in ballet classes and sharing her passion with others.
