Intermediate Ballet

Promotion into the Intermediate Class is based on ability rather than age; students must
be performing at an adequate level in Ballet C in order to be accepted into this level.

Youth Ballet – C

for students 8 years old to 10 years old: Ballet C is an introduction into a more serious study of ballet technique, and the instructor will require more exact form and technique.

Beginner Ballet – B

for students 7 years old to 8 years old: Students in Ballet B must have had at least one year of Ballet A classes or must have previous dance experience with a basic knowledge of ballet terminology and class discipline.

Jazz

for students 6 years old and older: Jazz classes have a warm – up and progression section of class. During progressions, teachers demonstrate how to break down the various turns and jumps that will be used later in the class during combinations

Preschool Classes

The emphasis for this age is an introduction to ballet consisting of learning ballet terminology, stretching, and basic coordination in an engaging and encouraging atmosphere
