Ballet C classes are designed for students ages 8-10. Promotion into the C class is based on ability rather than age; students must be performing at an adequate level in Ballet B in order to be accepted into this level. At this level, classes consist of an hour and a half of barre, stretching, and center technique. Ballet C is an introduction into a more serious study of ballet technique, and the instructor will require more exact form and technique. Ballet C students are required to take at least two classes, or three hours, per week.
